A Model Church for Urban Areas
San Felipe,
Dominican Republic
The Episcopal Church in the Dominican Republic
wants to build San Felipe-type churches in cities all around the country. It is
an appropriate, functional, dignified and relatively inexpensive design that
can be built in many urban settings, thus establishing the Dominican Episcopal
Church. The second floor will function, when it is finished, as a parish hall,
classrooms for the community, and an area for medical teams to offer a
short-term community clinic.
